I have just returned from the Clickin' Mom's Click Away 2014 photography conference in Salt Lake City. What a great time! I feel refreshed and have so many ideas for the coming year.
It was so much fun to be able to meet up with my sister and fellow artist, Sarah, for the conference. She is the best person to get my nose out of my notes and out into the world! She rented a car our first night in SLC and our first stop was the Bonneville Salt Flats. If you have never been, I highly recommend it! We arrived at 7:00pm and I shot the last golden hour of the day. So beautiful!
While at the conference, I had the privilege to hear Elizabeth Gilbert and Joy Prouty give keynote addresses and to take classes from the CM pros and mentors. While I certainly had my favorites (Fine Art School Photography!), I managed to take home a little something from each and every instructor.
I met two awesome representatives for Canon Professional Services. These girls were so much fun to chat with - they even let me try out the Mark 5diii on loan for my shooting class. In the end, I still think I'm a Nikon gal, but it's nice to try out other options once in a while.
Of course now I'm doing a lot of thinking about what is in the works for AdVance Photography. Look for gallery, blog, and investment updates coming soon. Plus, drop by on October 1st for a holiday special that will be the perfect gift for Mom and Dad!
